As a credit union, we’re governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and The Supervisory Committee. Members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee donate valuable time and personal experience to help our organization be the best it can be.
The Board of Directors works together to provide strategic direction for Red Rocks and to provide all members with the best products and services available.
The Committee ensures an annual examination of Red Rocks’ books and affairs is conducted.
Cesar Amicarella has over 25 years of international Electrical and Oil & Gas industry experience. He leads the implementation of AI for contract management at DCP Midstream. DCP is one of the largest producers of Natural Gas Liquids in the US. DCP gathers and processes about 12 percent of our nation’s gas supply. Prior to joining DCP in 2012, he held a series of leadership roles in engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and quality at General Electric. These roles included assignments in multiple US and international markets and a 5-yr overseas assignment leading a $800M manufacturing facility in Mexico.
Cesar is a Master Black Belt certified from GE’s Six Sigma program, holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
Julie Mensing brings 18 years of experience in accounting and finance. Most recently, she led the operational accounting team at DCP Midstream, LLC, where she focused on organizational changes and process transformation. Prior to this role, Julie worked in several accounting and financial reporting management roles at DCP Midstream and a local software company. Julie began her career at Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she served audit clients in various technology industries.
Julie graduated from the University of Denver in 2001 with her BS in Accounting and Masters of Accountancy. Julie is a certified public accountant in Massachusetts and Colorado.
Tiffany Watts, CPA, serves as a Director and Leadership Advisor at The Siegfried Group (Siegfried), helping financial executives become successful leaders in their organizations. Siegfried works alongside finance and accounting teams on their most important projects. Prior to joining Siegfried, Tiffany was the Director of Corporate Accounting at DCP Midstream, where she oversaw a variety of corporate accounting functions including technical accounting, consolidations and other areas of accounting. Prior to joining DCP Midstream, Tiffany spent nine years at Grant Thornton, where she was a Senior Manager in the audit practice. Tiffany is a Certified Public Accountant and attended the University of Cincinnati where she received a Masters of Science degree in Accounting.
ANDREA PRICE VALENZUELA
Andrea Price Valenzuela is the co-owner of a South Denver based real estate firm, Price & Co. As part of her real estate career, she has handled residential and commercial sales and REO (foreclosure) sales and disposition for over ten of the nation’s largest servicers. Her business expertise also includes tenant management, property rehab and commercial leasing. She trains and mentors agents that are new to the real estate industry and ensures commission and education compliance while helping to build their individual portfolio. She has received accolades for her sales including the South Metro Denver Board of Realtors Diamond Circle Award for multiple years. She is also a Founding Realtor Ambassador for The Animal Welfare Funding Alliance.
Andrea graduated from The University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010 with a BA in Political Science. She holds a Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.
With twenty years of broad financial services industry experience, David has held various positions with BB&T, Deloitte, Citigroup Global Markets, Merrill Lynch, and Volvo Commercial Finance, both in the US and abroad. He led numerous IT-related projects during that time including workflow redesign, CRM adoption, and the creation of BB&T’s FDIC-assisted bank merger model. In addition to executing billions of dollars in commercial debt transactions while employed with BB&T, David has advised on private equity transactions for Arcadia, 3i, Mezzanine Management, and Grey Mountain, among others.
David graduated from Wake Forest University with a dual B.S. in Business and German, and he holds a master’s degree from Oxford University, where he authored a lecture on financial ratio analysis that is still taught in the business school. His work has appeared in the Financial Times; the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Alliances; National Public Radio; and the BBC. David is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Colorado. He has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations, including leadership positions with the Manatee County Economic Development Corporation, CFA Society of Tennessee, and the Nashville Rotary Club.
Joeri Carty is the Senior Director IT Business Solutions for NextEra Energy. He joined the Company in January 1996. Joeri is responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions and Integrations, IT SOX compliance, IT Safety, and the Continuous Improvement Program. Joeri also has responsibility for the IT business services team which oversees IT Training, Communications, New hires, Employee Engagement and Change Management.
Joeri has over 25 years’ experience in the power industry leading resources to achieve significant results. He is passionate about developing people and driving Innovation. Joeri is a certified Executive and Leadership coach.
Joeri is a certified Six Sigma Master Blackbelt. He holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering and a Master Business Administration degree, both from the University of Florida.
